What You’ll Do:
As the Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll oversee all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including:
- Coordinating and supervising contractors for repairs and improvement projects
- Managing HVAC systems, emergency power, and utility usage
- Implementing building security protocols and snow removal plans
- Conducting routine inspections and handling day-to-day maintenance needs
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and documentation requirements
- Monitoring facility budgets and optimizing efficiency
- Providing clear updates to leadership and resolving employee concerns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus!)
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and facility management software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environmental conditions
Bonus Points For:
- Previous experience managing facility operations or leading maintenance teams
