You may be ready to join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We’re looking for a passionate and experienced <strong>Senior Android Developer</strong> with <strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in building high-quality mobile applications. </p><ul><li>Collaborate closely with the Mobile Architect and cross-functional teams (backend, QA, DevOps, UX/UI) to define app architecture and implementation details.</li><li>Contribute to planning, development, testing, and deployment of Android applications that integrate with IoT systems.</li><li>Develop modular, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern Android development standards.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Help shape and maintain coding standards, tools, and workflows (CI/CD, Git branching strategies, code quality practices).</li><li>Stay up to date with emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and best practices.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>Kotlin</strong> – strong, hands-on experience in production environments.</li><li><strong>Java</strong> – capable and confident, especially for legacy modules or hybrid apps.</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>MV*</strong> (Model–View–Whatever) architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI).</li><li>Solid experience with <strong>Jetpack Navigation</strong> and <strong>Android Jetpack components</strong> (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager).</li><li>Experience integrating <strong>RESTful APIs</strong>, handling offline data, and optimizing app performance.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Git</strong>, <strong>Gradle</strong>, and <strong>Android Studio.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Good to Have: </strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>IoT or connected devices.</strong></li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Agile/Scrum</strong> environments.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>Clean Architecture, CI/CD pipelines</strong>, or <strong>Jetpack Compose.</strong></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Romanian team;</li><li><strong>IoT project</strong> for a leading German customer.</li></ul>
