Job Description
The Department of "Engineering, Architecture and Systems" of our Combustion Solutions is providing system solutions and tools for in the Bosch Home Comfort Business unit.
It enables the business units and business enablers to realize their products and services according to the customer needs. Starting with requirements engineering it provides tools and processes for solution concepts, system simulation and integration, verification, and validation (iVV). An important part of the iVV strategy is the “Virtual testing” which allows to verify the customer requirements for a defined solution option in a virtual environment.
Your contribution to something big:
- Leading virtual testing activities for our Combustion Solutions (process, tools, alignment);
- Maintenance and build-up of infrastructure (w/ other business units);
- Support and align on DevOps tasks and processes;
- Coordinate simulation activities inside the Combustion Solutions area;
- Support of projects on specific tasks.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Degree in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software engineering or Informatics (or similar);
- Experience and Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience with model-based development tools (MATLAB and Simulink);
- Knowledge and interest to understand HVAC systems;
- Knowledge of modern DevOps, particularly with the Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Jira (R4J, Xray), Confluence), Jenkins. Git and testing experience is valued;
- Personality:
- Very good communication skills, and willingness to collaborate with an international team - this includes occasional business travels abroad;
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit, with eagerness to learn and share knowledge with others;
- Strong sense of responsibility;
- Proactive attitude with strategic mindset;
- Languages: Good level of English and Portuguese language written and spoken.
