The Senior Manager, Alliance Management Operations candidate will provide essential support to BeiGene’s growing Alliance Management team. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and able to communicate effectively across BeiGene functions and geographies. The candidate will also demonstrate the ability to focus on details while retaining the big-picture context of helping to establish BeiGene as the Partner of choice. The candidate will ensure consistent, high-quality operational execution by driving program management to support BeiGene’s growing portfolio of clinical supply alliances. This position will also support key Alliance Management initiatives. Such initiatives will enable cross-functional communication, transparency, and organizational readiness for BeiGene’s expanding alliance portfolio.
The Senior Manager, Alliance Management Operations candidate will remain adaptable to the changing needs of the Alliance Management team. The candidate will also work collaboratively with other Operations Leads to proactively address any items requiring simplification, innovation, or improvement across the organization.
Essential Functions:
Clinical Supply Agreement Management
- Manage clinical drug supply partnerships with BeiGene’s growing portfolio of external clinical development partners.
- Lead program operations and process improvement to ensure efficiency in daily activities with BeiGene’s cross-functions and external partners.
- Work with internal legal and business development representatives to negotiate, close and manage primary supply and any ancillary agreements (i.e., PV, Quality, QP-QP agreements).
- Lead regular internal and external team level and governance meetings to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide support to development related contracts, task orders, work requests, purchase orders, change orders and negotiate terms with outside 3rd party vendors in support of development activities in clinical supplies.
- Serving as key point of contact for internal colleagues to support partner activities for QA, PV, drug supply, publications/press release, HA submission, CMC, Legal/IP, Protocol review, study progress and CSR review, and etc. Route, track and facilitate the timely progress of contracts from point of receipt through execution and prepare status reports for contracts in circulation.
- Support ongoing program review, contract amendment, and assessment of potential opportunities to expand existing collaborations.
- Provide status update to BD, R&D, and cross-function.
- Support tracking of invoices and payments.
Support Alliance Management Operations:
- Support Alliance Management’s goals, priorities, and initiatives to ensure the team is aligned and on track with deliverables.
- Support Alliance Management’s team meetings, training, collaborations to improve processes, systems, and communication.
