What is the opportunity?

The Senior Associate, Talent Acquisition plays a key role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting mission-aligned talent to support Foundation Academies’ strategic goals. This position is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for instructional and non-instructional roles, supporting hiring managers, optimizing recruitment systems, and contributing to the organization's broader talent strategy. The Senior Associate ensures high-quality candidate experiences, operational efficiency, and the recruitment of a diverse, equity-centered talent pipeline.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of Ll roles across K–12 campuses and the Home Office, with a goal of filling positions within 3–4 months of opening.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to hiring managers, guiding them through effective recruitment and selection practices.
  • Execute high-volume outreach and sourcing strategies to attract diverse, mission-aligned candidates using multiple platforms, networks, and events.
  • Manage and optimize workflows in Greenhouse (applicant tracking system) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent candidate and hiring team experiences.
  • Support job description creation and posting, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and ensure a consistent and equitable process across all roles.
  • Maintain real-time, high-quality candidate data and recruitment dashboards.
  • Track and report on key metrics including candidate pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring conversion rates to inform ongoing strategy.
  • Partner with the Talent team to build and maintain process documentation and tools that support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute talent campaigns that promote Foundation Academies as an employer of choice.
  • Stay current on recruitment trends, DEI best practices, and technological innovations to strengthen Foundation Academies’ recruitment brand and outcomes.
  • Support talent branding efforts, including the development of messaging, content, and candidate-facing materials that highlight our mission and culture.

What do we require from you?

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR; preferably in a K–12, nonprofit, or mission-driven setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment processes from sourcing to offer.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Comfort with data tracking, systems navigation, and digital tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, Google Suite).
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in recruitment practices.

Preferred

  • Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience in a school-based or education-related setting.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across an organization.
  • Familiarity with marketing and outreach strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
