The role of the Incentive Compensation Analyst - Human Resources is to be responsible for implementing and maintaining programs, policies and procedures that support incentive compensation inclusive of commissions and Hanger’s bonus programs. Responsibilities include compensation design, maintenance, and administration of bonus and incentive programs. Will function as an internal consultant to identify and resolve various compensation-related issues/questions.
Your Impact
- Manage short-term incentive programs at Hanger. Support annual plan design changes, documentation, employee education, system configuration, and administration.
- Build relationships with local region leadership, talent acquisition staff, HR partners, and other internal customers to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Hanger incentive compensation programs.
- Partner with Hanger leaders to make recommendations for new incentive compensation structures. Develop transition plans to shift employees from current-state to future-state designs. Analyze historical incentive compensation payment history to ensure a fair and equitable transition to future state incentive compensation designs.
- Increase employee transparency and understanding of incentive programs. Develop and deliver communication for employees, managers, and senior leaders to guide them through changes in incentive compensation design.
- Ensure that all compensation-related activities are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, standards, and internal policies. Respond to audit requests pertaining to short-term incentive programs and payments at Hanger.
- Drive effective use of the compensation system by proactively and collaboratively developing, standardizing, and improving processes and workflows around the system. Update, review, and distribute procedures, job aids etc. to support the HR administration and best support our customers.
- Review basic policy/process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities. Perform validations to ensure accurate payments across all short-term incentive programs and commission plans.
- Provide support for Compensation and Commissions systems. Complete quarterly testing, support team in reconfigurations resulting in plan changes, and partner to resolve testing issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Proactively seek avenues to adopt best practices and innovative approaches to addressing Compensation and business obstacles. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, suggesting improvements to ensure our programs remain competitive and effective.
- Assist broad-based Compensation team members with various research and/or special projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of related total reward experience
Preferred
- Experience in compensation pay systems
- Experience with HRIS applications such as ADP, Oracle, SAP or Workday
