The Group Third-Party Risk Management team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. For our Third-Party Risk Management team based in the headquarters in Munich, Germany, we are looking for a Third-Party Incident Expert, who has a profound experience in the management of third-party incidents (IT and non-IT) and follow up activities, related to reporting, compliance and risk treatment. How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Together with our Digital Resilience experts, you enhance, shape and support the domains of Third-Party Risk Management and Incident/Crisis management with a focus on the implementation of preventive and responsive measures related to third-party incidents, control deficiencies and compliance monitoring
- Participate in international projects related to third-party risk management and incident/crisis management
- Actively support Allianz entities to improve their preventive and responsive measures via guidance and trainings, community calls and best practice sharing across Allianz Group
- Perform systematic monitoring of the compliance of Allianz entities by using data analytics and executing on-site and remote reviews
- As the third-party incident expert in our Group Third-Party Risk Management team, you provide expertise and support to Allianz entities around the globe in the implementation of (IT and non-IT) incident response and follow-up procedures and participate in Group as well as local incident co-ordination and crisis unit meetings
- Analyse external information sources about third-party compliance and incidents and timely execution and tracking of mitigating solutions
- Collaborate with other Group centers, Allianz entities, Allianz Services and Allianz Technology
- Act as back-up for other Third-Party risk experts to mitigate key person risk
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the finance industry with at least five years of practical experience in managing Third-Party Risk, Outsourcing, Procurement or Supplier Management
- Profound experience in operationally managing third-party incidents and follow-up activities
- Understanding of the business based on practical experience in the core of the financial services operations
- Graduate in Economics, Business, Legal, IT, Risk management or Finance or a comparable education
- Qualified in external information and intelligence sources; Knowledge of relevant international standards, certifications are welcome
- Ability to build strong working relationships in virtual, international and complex team environments
- Strong teamwork ethic, solid interpersonal and listening skills, analytical skills, ability to apply independent judgement, strive for win-win situations
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills and ability to convey complex information to different stakeholder groups
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with high agility and adaptability
- Reliable, highly committed, precise working combined with analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting and facilitating trainings in front of an audience
- Ability to work self-responsible and autonomously, also at times of high pressure
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory, good level of German skills are welcome
- Willingness to participate in the incident monitoring process, also beyond the usual working hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
