By joining the Cardiology team as an RN Ambulatory Team Lead, you will interact with daily operations in the cardiology suite, managing staffing for Suites 101 and 502. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include investigating and resolving patient issues and answering calls from referring physicians to schedule patients. By acting as a patient liaison, you will help get patients in a critical diagnosis situation scheduled for diagnostic testing, which will help to eliminate stress due to potential delays. This opportunity will allow you to expand your skill set and act as a steppingstone into higher level leadership positions.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in various ambulatory settings.
Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned employees and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues in specified clinical area.
Work as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
Assist in the preparation of the department specific education for patients and colleagues.
