About the opportunity 

Join our Xplor Pay team as a Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Operations to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers’ experiences. 

Reporting into the VP of Marketing, Payments, you'll lead our marketing technology strategy and execution. This role will be central in optimizing our demand generation engine, managing marketing automation platforms and driving performance across paid advertising channels, as well as overseeing execution of all communications.

This role also provides a broad range of opportunities for execution and delivery within several facets of marketing. An all-around knowledge of marketing is critical to success and can provide opportunities for advancement within a global SAAS organisation.  

Some of the other responsibilities include: 

  • Own development, implementation, and managing comprehensive brand and communications strategy for Xplor Pay.
  • Lead and execute all internal communications as well as external communications for existing partner and merchant customers, including, but not limited to email notices, statement messages and certified letters.
  • Own and optimize our Pardot instance, ensuring effective lead capture, scoring, nurturing and segmentation.
  • Manage system integrations with Salesforce and other platforms, ensuring clean data flow and accurate attribution.
  • Develop, test, and optimize automated nurture programs, campaigns, and reporting dashboards.
  • Develop strategy and execution of paid media campaigns across channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing activities, including key metrics (KPIs) like open rates and click through rates for communications and ROI for third party product campaigns.
  • Analyze performance and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and creative) to align marketing efforts with broader company objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across the marketing tech stack.
  • Own marketing performance dashboards and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.

Location

This position is fully remote within the contiguous 48 United States, provided you have eligible working rights and can collaborate effectively across time zones.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000

Qualifications

​​​​​​What would make me a good candidate? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in B2B marketing; experience in the payments industry is a strong advantage.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience, with proven ability to manage teams and drive strategy.
  • Deep expertise in Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Salesforce integration.
  • Demonstrated success managing paid advertising campaigns with measurable ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing performance data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with attribution models, lead scoring, and funnel optimisation.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage vendor/agency relationships.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • High energy, creative, and innovative mindset with strong execution capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for varied audiences.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive projects from concept to execution within a complex organisation.
