SUBSTANCE ABUSE CLINICAL COUNSELOR SUPERVISOR NF-04 RFT WWH (TIER III)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required Degree: Must possess a master's degree from a college or university with a program nationally accredited in: social work or psychology, marriage and family therapy, licensed professional counseling, or in a related behavioral health field. Required Licensure: Highest licensure by a State or National regulatory board that authorizes independent clinical practice that is current, valid, unrestricted and in good standing in at least one of the following: clinical social work, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed professional counselor, or clinical psychologist that meet the DoD requirements. Must provide a photocopy of licensure with their application. Required Experience: Tier III must have engaged in at least two years post licensure, that includes at least 2,000 hours post licensure or 4,000 hours post graduate degree, full-time clinical experience in a clinical setting. Two of these years must include documented post-licensure clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment. Must have at least two years of post-licensure experience as a clinical supervisor of professional clinical providers. Required Certification: Certified substance abuse counselor (Alcohol and Drug Counselor II, International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium substance abuse counselor certification, or state equivalent) required at time of hire. Expert knowledge of Marine Corps substance abuse policies, directives and regulations. Make recommendations significantly changing or developing programs. Knowledge of the SACC budgetary goals and objectives. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the USMC model and continuum of care.
