As the Supervisor of Platform Operations, you will lead a talented team of engineers responsible for automating, integrating, and maintaining critical infrastructure and shared technology services across hybrid environments. Your leadership will ensure seamless collaboration between development and infrastructure teams, driving the adoption of infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automated deployment practices. You will oversee the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade platforms, ensuring world-class availability and robust security compliance.

Your role will be pivotal in aligning technical execution with business goals, mentoring talent, and advancing the maturity of platform operations through modern DevOps and SRE methodologies.

Role qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study or the equivalent in documented work experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT systems engineering management or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating leadership functions.
- 10+ years of relevant technical and business experience in IT systems delivery, operations, and support in a technology and/or health care environment
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), observability and log aggregation tools (OpenTelemetry, NewRelic, Splunk, Cribl, etc.), AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, Istio, etc.), and COTS product management.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between infrastructure and product development teams to achieve common goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients/vendors.
- Proven understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Proven understanding of web development methodologies, application design, navigation, and information architecture.
- Ability to lead and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with project forecasting and understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
