Job Summary
- Provide program/clerical support for the Nursing Program primarily on Hazard Campus. Serve as receptionist greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing mail, maintaining calendars, scheduling of activities and events. Assist with data entry related to academic services. Assist with HCTC retention and recruitment events. Assist with selective admission processes, admission conferences, orientations, and accreditation requirements. Maintains documentation for nursing student files. Initial review begins January 6, 2025.
Job Duties:
- Performs general support duties such as preparing correspondence, purchasing requisitions, travel completions, memorandums, reports, filing, budget tracking, etc.
Serves as receptionist greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing mail, maintaining calendars, scheduling of activities and events.
Assist with data entry related to academic services: registration, advisor assignments, program review completion, degree check sheets/graduation plans, etc.
Assists with confidential materials related to academic services/programs/divisions.
Assists with HCTC retention, recruitment, and other college events.
Provide program/clerical support specifically for the RN/LPN/Nurse Aide Programs.
Assist with selective admission processes, admission conferences, orientations, and accreditation requirements.
Maintain documentation for nursing student files, clinical instructor files, and faculty files.
Update program reviews with data and content for program coordinator analysis.
Enters and maintains class schedule information for assigned programs.
Assists faculty/unit with technology, assessment completion, and finalizing reports.
Provides campus, unit, and program support.
Maintains up-to-date skills to provide support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree (Business Administration or related field) and 2 years related experience, or equivalent.
