About the role

We’re looking for a highly skilled administrative professional to help us achieve our mission of enabling the world's teams to work together effortlessly. The Administrative Business Partner role will support our General Counsel, Eleanor Lacey and Legal team. You will partner directly with key stakeholders to help them achieve their goals and objectives as well as work with the functional administrative teams.

This role reports to our Admin Operations team, which delivers best-in-class support to our company leaders. Your Admin Ops teammates will support you with partnership, resources, and knowledge-sharing to maximize your operational effectiveness with Eleanor and the broader legal leadership team.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays; however, you may be expected to work from the office if there is a business need. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about our philosophy and in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Build business acumen by understanding Asana’s sales lifecycle and business/organizational priorities and manage large, complex projects (e.g. Asana’s Board) with significant impact on business outcomes
  • Earn trusted relationships across the company and collaborate with the admin team to provide seamless support for all Asanas
  • Ensure Eleanor leverages her time through strategic calendaring: attention to detail, accuracy, context-switching, and energy management
  • Produce impactful meetings and events through efficient logistics and preparation
  • Turn speed into true velocity: quickly analyze/resolve tasks and improve operational opportunities, in alignment with our goals and priorities
  • Manage and coordinate domestic and international travel logistics and handle inquiries quickly, proactively, and follow through on tasks to successful completion
  • Support your leader(s) in maintaining relationships with key people to ensure continuity in communications and to surface and pursue opportunities for collaboration
  • Deepen our culture’s business impact by embodying our values and goals in all internal and external relationships

About you

  • You have supported senior leaders (VP, C Suite) for 4+ years
  • Professional experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
  • Understand the highly flexible nature of support work and are comfortable being available in person and onsite 3-4 days per week
  • Display exceptional discretion and sense of nuance with confidential/sensitive information
  • Enjoy owning and producing large/complex events and projects and comfortable navigating, and making decisions amidst ambiguity with equanimity
  • Are technologically savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new applications and tools
  • Honed excellent prioritization skills including analyzing business needs, judgment on trade-offs, and bringing along stakeholders
  • Professional polish in both internal and external interactions and the ability to exhibit grace and composure under pressure

What we’ll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $156,000 - $198,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits. If you're interviewing for this role, speak with your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn more about the total compensation and benefits for this role.
