None/Not RequiredPlans and performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.
What You Will Do:
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Will need to successfully pass Collins Aerospace training program, which will occur the first month on the job.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident/green card, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with electronics manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions
Must successfully pass Collins Aerospace training program which will occur in the first month of the job.
Experience working in a clean room environment.
