The Organizational Development Business Partner (ODBP) role is one of embedment, engagement and management, supporting the business in cultivating and maintaining a people and performance centric culture at Coates. Through the collaborative design and deployment of impactful learning and development programs, tools and resources and close engagement with the business to guide and coach the embedment of leadership practices and processes that drive performance, the ODBP aims to help elevate leadership capability and behavioral consistency, to positively impact organizational performance, employee engagement, career progression, diversity and culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of programs and activities aligned to the global organizational development strategy
  • Implementation, embedment and evolution of a company-wide competency and career pathway framework that provides opportunities for clear career planning.
  • Local implementation of development experiences and resources, aligned to the organizational capability requirements and expectations of leaders at Coates.
  • Embedment of practices and governance frameworks aligned to continued elevation of leadership bench strength and impact and a high-performance culture.
  • Delivery of face to face and virtual learning events, focused on capability development as well as process embedment.
  • Embedment of Talent Management and Critical Role activities.
  • Design and execution of activities aligned to Coates’ DEI strategy
  • Management of OD resource and learning library, including competency frameworks, Role Charters, development pathways, assessment resources, document repositories, etc.
  • Ongoing innovation in the integration of OD related technology to improve the learning experience and impact.
  • Management of learning operations including reporting, diagnostics and compliance related governance
  • Management and improvement of OD systems and tools, such as Go1, HiBob and SharePoint

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Organizational Psychology, HR or relevant discipline coupled with previous experience implementing OD programs
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in People and Culture function with experience in designing and implementing OD programs and practices that shift culture and capability
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing diagnostic tools and assessments (360, personality profiling, engagement, etc.)
  • Experience in developing and facilitating learning interventions that accommodate for various degrees of leadership maturity and corporate rigor.
