What will you do

This position is fully responsible for the organization and operation of the technical service function for the Factory Direct branch locations in the Area. 

How will you do

• Lead & develop the Area Branch Service Manager team providing guidance training and support creating a best in class technical service organization.   

• Contribute as an integral part of the Area Leadership team, business strategy and implementation. 

• Provide technical support for York & third party product, Residential & Commercial to Service Managers, branch personnel & customers in regard to application, installation, service and performance issues electronically and in person. 

• Support Area branch personnel in application and technical information of past, current and future products.

• Supervise, monitor, and fulfill warranty administration and obligations on the UPG product line.

• Arranges and/or conducts Dealer, Service Manager & branch personnel technical training.   

• Lead through Branch Service Managers, the resolution of customer complaints, working with the dealer, the consumer, and factory customer relations, towards highest possible resolution satisfactory to all parties.

• Assist Area branch personnel in brand development including parts & supplies inventory, new product opportunities and service letter application.

• Advise and distribute as necessary Technical Service Bulletins and Service-Tips letters.

• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combined education and experience.

• A minimum of ten years field experience and successful management experience.

• Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.

• Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability.

• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.

• Strong leadership skills and professional creativity.

• Proven teaching abilities.

• Ability to travel up to 40%.
