The Operations Manager works across the Digital & Innovation (D&I) Organization to provide oversight and guidance on standard operations activities and reporting requirements, while identifying, leading, and enabling key transformational and business improvement initiatives effectively and strategically. The role will be responsible for supporting the D&I Directors, First Line managers and Program Managers, with a focus on optimizing and maintaining operations standards, proactively identifying improvement areas, fostering change management best practices, and supporting effective and consistent communication.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Provide oversight on standard operations activities across the D&I organization.
  • Interface with leaders across the organization to enable consistent operations of the D&I organization and efficient ways of working with business unit stakeholders and corporate functions.
  • Develop standard enterprise level reports and support D&I leadership through recurring reporting activities to executive Westinghouse staff, ad-hoc reports, and data pipelines.  Ensure all organizational reporting requirements are managed efficiently, accurately, and timely.
  • Independently and proactively identify opportunities for business operations performance improvement through collection and analysis of key business data and collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Plan, oversee and deliver transformational improvement initiatives across the D&I organization.
  • Drive data insights in all aspects of Westinghouse’s D&I operations with a focus on transformational opportunities.
  • Lead and develop communications and branding of the D&I organization to all I stakeholders, engaging with other corporate support organizations, as needed.
  • Coach others in the application of continuous improvement and change management best practices.
  • Lead change initiatives across D&I and build stakeholder management, communications and training plans while coordinating the development of change management artifacts.
  • Collaborate across functions, organizations, and external partners in the assessment, design, development, and implementation of change management initiatives.
  • Stay informed about Westinghouse best practices and assess applicability to D&I operations.

 

Who You Are:

  • B.S. degree in Business Management, Engineering, Organizational Effectiveness or related discipline. Master’s preferred but not required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in increasingly higher levels of complexity
  • Strong leadership, organizational effectiveness, communication, change management, driving for results, innovation, planning & organization, strategic thinking and cross-functional teamwork;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and solve high level problems. Proven ability to analyze information for complex decision making;
  • Sound business judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills;
  • High-quality presentation skills;
  • Technology savvy with the ability to leverage technology to meet business objectives;
  • Basic understanding of business financial management and reporting
