Job Title: Copilot Technical Architect

Work Location: Remote, Arlington, VA
Alpha Omega is seeking a proactive Copilot Technical Architect to join our team. The candidate will lead the design & implementation of architectural, security, privacy, and data management elements of a Copilot implementation at the FDIC. This role will be responsible for planning and coordination of all ATO and readiness activity in preparation for the launch of Copilot at the FDIC. This role will be responsible for defining the setup, configuration, and monitoring of Copilot use at the FDIC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support (and lead where possible) all necessary ATO processes required for Copilot use at the FDIC.
- Lead Copilot readiness assessment activities at the FDIC.
- Design and implement centralized Copilot administration at the FDIC across all available tools (Microsoft 365 Admin, Copilot Control System, Purview, Power Platform Admin System, PowerShell scripts).
- Design and implement Copilot activity monitoring, governance, and compliance at the FDIC across all available tools (Microsoft 365 Admin, Copilot Control System, Purview, Power Platform Admin System, PowerShell scripts).
- Design and implement Copilot grounded knowledge configuration and use at the FDIC across all available tools (Microsoft 365 Admin, Copilot Control System, Purview, Power Platform Admin System, PowerShell scripts).
- Design and implement Copilot Studio use guidelines and governance and how it integrates with Microsoft Power Platform app development.
- Design and implement Azure AI Foundry use guidelines and governance; coordinating with Azure app development stakeholders.
- Provide technical lead support for governance planning, implementation, and enforcement of Copilot use at the FDIC.
- Provide technical lead support for all necessary ATO activity for Copilot use at the FDIC.
- Design and conduct pilots of Copilot capabilities within the FDIC as needed.
- Design and lead execution of rollout plans for Copilot capabilities as they become ready for rollout at the FDIC.
- Provide technical lead support for integration of Copilot with Microsoft Power Platform app development and use.
- Provide technical lead support for end user adoption, training, and solution design.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree.
Experience/Skills:
- Federal Client requires US citizenship.
- Greater than 8 years of Azure systems architecture design and implementation.
- Greater than 5 years of Microsoft Power Platform architecture design and implementation.
- Familiarity with AI tools, data connectors, and low-code/no-code configuration.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy, and information assurance techniques when working with cloud systems.
- Experience using and developing on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and Azure.
- Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications in M365, Microsoft Power Platform, or Azure AI.
- Experience deploying AI or automation tools in an enterprise environment.
Certification(s):
- Microsoft PL-900 Certification required prior to start date.
Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $152,446 - $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
