Assistant Finance Manager, SC Branch

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee comprehensive branch financial operation and enforce sound financial governance;
• Execute financial control process, align branch finance activities with HO standards and mitigate risks;
• Support Branch GM on ongoing monitoring and control of branch-level expense, strictly enforce the “BaoXingHeYi” requirements, strengthen expense compliance oversight;
• Serve as the primary finance contact with local regulatory authorities to maintain sound collaborative compliance relationships;
• Ensure the quality and timely submission of local regulatory reports and tax fillings complying with statutory deadlines;
• Provide agile ad-hoc financial support for local business and regulatory requirement, including regulatory inspection coordination and internal audit inspection etc.;
• Support additional tasks delegated by Line Manager, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork fulfilling the requirement from both local and HO.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Rich working experience of Life Insurance financial experience and familiar with China GAAP, Taxation regulation, and insurance practice rule, familiar with IFRS 17 and CAS 25 is perferable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver.
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
• Considerate and self-motivated.
• A professional accounting qualifications is preferable.
