Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) in our Colorado Springs, CO office.  

 

Position Overview:  

Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:  

• Support configuration data management planning, including process definition, implementation, and training
• Implement new configuration management (CM) tools (Teamcenter Mission PLM) and act as the CM Owner and Administrator
• Maintain a systematic change management process by generating configuration management documents and support engineering change control
• Produce new configuration management process documentation as required
• Prepare documents for archival and maintain archived records as required
• Owner of the CM Process, and program technical baseline 
• Manage the storage and processes for officially updating our documentation and data libraries
• Follow the CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining change managed baselines
• Interfacing well with program management, team members, and the customer while keeping track of documents and action items
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Maintain – Process Documentation (Configuration Management Plan, Master HW list, Master SW List, Engineering drawings, Technical Baseline)
• Transfer of CM artifacts between environments
• Audits of CM artifacts supporting program needs
• Controlling baselines

 

 Basic Qualifications:

• Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD. 12 years of relevant experience in may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active Secret clearance at time of application
• Configuration management and change control experience 
• Experience in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, etc) 
• Experience with SharePoint<
