- Expected full-time salary range between $ 150,000 - $185,000 + variable compensation + 401(k) match + benefits.

Job purpose
Reporting to the Head of Platform Operations; the role will be to run the Application Support teams within CLS. The role will work closely with both the engineering team and the Application Development teams and will be the main point of contact for the Operations team when there are Service impacting issues.
Essential Job Functions
- A member of the Platform Operations leadership team, responsible for ensuring the Production environment is stable and well managed.
- Responsible for running the global Application support teams made up of Windows Application Support, Unix Application support and a Nightshift support function.
- Acting as an escalation point for high impact Application Support issues, including out of hours call outs.
- Ensuring the Application support teams are modernizing their methodology to ensure they are efficient and able to deliver consistently.
- Responsible for Managing the Operational stability of the Applications and Middleware within CLS, including acting as an escalation point for issues.
- Responsible for ensuring that Application Deployments and changes are well managed and delivered on time.
- Management of vendor relationships ensuring renewals and regular reviews are performed.
- Own the relationship with the Application Development teams to ensure Releases and updates are managed and issues are fed back for resolution.
- Act as an escalation point for Application issues from the Business stakeholders.
Minimum Job-related Experience Required
- Team management experience, preferably with a team supporting Business-Critical production workloads.
- An understanding of Financial management and Vendor management skills.
- Experience implementing standards and procedures to adhere to current best practices and support continual service improvements.
- Ability to work with decision-makers to define business and systems requirements and recommend new technology in accordance with corporate policies.
- Good understanding of working in a regulated environment and conversant with the adoption of good Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practices.
- Preferable for experience gained working in a regulated financial services / banking organization.
Specialist Skills/Knowledge
- A full understanding of ITIL specifically change control and incident management.
- A solid overall understanding of Application technologies and experience of working closely with Application development teams.
- A strong understanding of application release methodologies including CI/CD.
- A methodical approach to documentation including run books and change plans.
- A good knowledge of Application support preferably on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- A solid understanding of Middleware technologies including MQ and WebSphere.
- Possess a strong service-oriented mind set who can consistently deliver high level
