Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talented Head of People and Recruiting to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. We are looking for an HR professional with both a strategic mindset and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude. We are looking for a HR generalist that has touched all parts of HR with a focus on talent acquisition.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the global People and Talent acquisition strategy and roadmap, resulting in >70% headcount growth
- Lead and develop the People and Recruiting teams through hyper-growth
- Accountable for organizational learning and development strategy and execution, including but not limited to the career roadmap program
- Manage ongoing organizational initiatives that enable and improve company culture as we grow and scale
- Build strong and effective relationships with the management team, managers and employees to become a trusted partner and coach throughout the organization.
- Own the global mobility strategy and roadmap
- Own inclusion, diversity and equity strategy and roadmap
- Provide leadership and execution on compensation, training and development, performance evaluation, and People policies
- Oversee employment law compliance and manage risk; consult with / manage outside employment counsel as necessary
- Review, revise, negotiate, and administer a comprehensive range of employee benefit programs
- Lead and create ways to promote our culture throughout the organization to drive enhanced employee engagement
What You Need:
- 10+ years of experience working in HR and Recruiting
- Experience as Head of HR
- Experience working in a global organization
- Experience working at a technical company
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to foster relationships across all levels
- High social and emotional intelligence
- Strong collaboration, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Functional expertise, along with business acumen, personal credibility and outstanding leadership skills
- Ability to make difficult or unpopular decisions ethically and rationally using data and logic
- Ability to work in ambiguity and anticipate challenges and solutions before they arise

What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience working in a open source or data science-oriented company
- Hands on experience with Namely and Greenhouse HR tools
- Experience designing and leading DEI initiatives with proven results for hiring, promotion, and retention
