POSITION SUMMARY
As a Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech), you will be responsible for our food safety culture by conducting various analyses of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging. With the recent startup of the Glendale facility, you will have the unique opportunity to optimize existing procedures and support future line startup activities. In this role, you will partner with all areas of the manufacturing facility to ensure every bottle that goes out the door meets all Nestlé specifications and is of the highest quality our consumers expect.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a night shift position. It will require working on a 2-2-3,12-hour shift night schedule. The night shift occurs from 6:00pm – 6:30am. The schedule pattern is summarized below:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a safe work environment through risk predictions, job analyses, and discussion amongst team in regularly scheduled operational reviews (ORs)
- Verify Nestlé Quality Assurance Center (NQAC) global methods for the site by evaluating local standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each analysis against global methods to ensure compliance and fit-for-purpose
- Ensure system health by collaborating with external partners with audits and verification procedures
- Draft, finalize, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to accommodate all learning styles
- Create training material in digital systems to be used for production operators and QA, and document trainings for traceability
- Cross-functionally work with others to perform problem solving analyses potentially involving quality related issues
- Train and coach production operators, QA team, and other relevant personnel to perform and record results for analytical processes
