Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Location: The Rim Golf Club – Payson, AZ

Job Summary: The Rim Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance team in ensuring the upkeep and smooth operation of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the routine maintenance and repair of club facilities, including the clubhouse, golf course structures, swimming pool, tennis courts, and other outdoor areas.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and report issues to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including furniture arrangement and equipment setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Support landscaping and groundskeeping efforts, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and management promptly.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
