DIS-TRAN Steel is looking for a Fitter to join the team in FAB at the Pineville Plant. Fitters will interpret blueprints to tack fit structures including tubular steel transmission poles, latticed transmission towers, substation deadend and support structures and other specialty structures. Fitters must be capable of fitting steel layouts according to specifications.  Individuals must be able to perform duties with speed and accuracy in order to produce a quality product and keep a steady flow of products. This position will frequently use calculating skills, by tape measure or other device. This position will use other moving machinery or equipment, including cranes, in order to manipulate steel structures.
