Job Description

AECOM is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Full Stack Developer to work on a variety of tasks and projects. The successful candidate shall be able to work in a team and independently without losing initiative & focus

 Responsibilities include:

• Completes work based upon the project schedule
• Participate in client workshops to further refine requirements
• Contribute to technical approach discussions
• Perform testing on development environment and resolve bugs
• Works with the quality assurance tester to resolve any problems.
• Providing technical feasibility and recommendations
• Create executable code for the functionality of web design elements
• Produce code for server-side elements
• Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability
• Performs unit testing of their work.
• Provide solution maintenance and enhancements
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Attention to detail and quality in written code
• Participates in department code reviews.
• Work in a collaborative fast-paced environment
• Improve and maintain technology assets in use on the program
• Knows or learns to use the tools required for the job assignment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with node.js / express Development, React and/or Angular, and MySQL or SQL Server Databases
• 2 years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience following Secure Development Lifecycle
• Experience with SharePoint and SPFX
• Experience retrieving data from APIs
• Experience with solution performance improvements
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Experience with performing unit tests and end-to-end testing
