Private Duty Caregiver - Mequon

Lori Knapp Cares is assisting a member in the community to find his own personal caregiving staff. The member is looking for 1 male worker to assist him with about 8-10 hours of services on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

The member is an adult male with Autism and works better with male caregivers. The member is non-verbal and has become physically aggressive 3 times in the past 10 years. Applicants for this position must be okay with the possibility of aggressive behavior.

Duties

• General Housekeeping Task (cleaning, dishes, trash removal)
• Assistance with Meal Prep
• Assistance with feeding the member.
• Social Activities as tolerated (drives in the community, soap/candle making, cooking (not using the stove.))
• Personal cares after toileting.
• Supervision for safety.

This position is not with Lori Knapp Inc., if hired the applicant will work for the member and/or his guardian.

Requirements

1. Preferred male caregiver.
2. Valid Drivers License.
3. Good driving record.
4. Ability to work with behaviors at times.

Benefits

Pay: $25 per hour
