What you Will Do:

The Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Senior Engineer to join the Engine System Software organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

  • Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software requirements and designs within an Agile Framework
  • Conduct iterative prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs
  • Perform software verification within the Agile Framework including regression analysis, test case development, test script development and evaluation of results
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Participate in software planning, estimating and tracking per Agile framework
  • Potential to serve as Agile Scrum Master and/or part of the Development Team

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment
  • Prior experience developing software in an Agile framework
  • Prior safety critical software development experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO178B
  • Outstanding cross discipline communication skills
  • Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design

The EDSI Commercial Engines and Military Engines organizations are focused on delivering systems solutions to meet customer requirements, driving engineering quality and productivity, and developing the next generation of systems engineers.​​ EDSI is responsible for the integration of components, modules, and sub-systems into world class commercial and military propulsion systems.​​

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
