About the role

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 5:00am - 1:30 pm (OT mandatory once a month)

What you will do –

As a Team Lead you will assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.

  • Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns
  • Provides direction and guidance to employees in area of responsibility
  • Partners with supervisor to ensure all team members are adequately trained and maintain completed competencies and ensure all employees are following standardized work and completing quality records accurately
  • Resolves technical and/or resource issues on the line in regard to equipment, process and people as much as possible
  • Invests in employee involvement and development by being responsible and accountable, being passionate towards the success of the business, treating all with dignity and respect and by fostering personal growth
  • Responsible for line/area/cell performance to targets
  • Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement and 5S, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction
  •  Promotes a continuous improvement culture through a team focus on safety, product quality, employee engagement and productivity in order to deliver the highest quality product to customers
  • Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results
  • Leads small production team within one manufacturing line in relation to cell needs at the production level
  • Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance team's performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria

What you need –

  • High School or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience required
