<p>Title:</p>LCV EUCOM Poland: Sr. Specialist, Logistics Support<p></p><p></p><p>Responsible for the development of logistical plans, policies, and procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services. Recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform the logistics functions of the project. Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer. Troubleshoots problem areas in logistics and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solutions to management. Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of performance. Coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate regarding logistical functions performed under contract.</p><p></p><p>Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 1-3 years of experience. Provide movement control support for the surface &amp; air movement of cargo and personnel through the U.S. Military Transportation System. Responsible for receiving, validating, and processing, all Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), Joint Movement Requests (JMRs) &amp; Air Movement Requests (AMRs) for the personnel and equipment transiting, originating, terminating, and assigned MCT Area of responsibility. Able to work in a high stress atmosphere and make passenger related decisions. Candidate must possess working knowledge of Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, ITV, etc. Able to communicate effectively with military personnel, understand military flight information and local policies. Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems. Position responsibilities also encompass administrative duties in support of the entire Airfield Terminal Operations. Ability to read understand and create Air Load Plans utilizing Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES). Familiarization and certification in the Joint Inspection process is a plus.</p><p></p><p>Required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays under extreme pressure and strenuous conditions. Duties will involve conducting work in out-of-doors areas with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Physically challenging position; requiring extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and lifting up to 65 pounds.
