THE JOB:

Carbone Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Food & Beverage team as Bus Person! As a Bus Person, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the restaurant. This includes maintaining the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations, ensuring they are consistently clean, well-stocked, and ready for service.

THE STARTING PAY: $14.2745

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Team up with servers to deliver excellent guest service

• Polish flatware, set tables with clean silverware, glassware, linens, and accessories

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables, then reset with fresh linens and tabletop items

• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens, delivering them to the kitchen and disposing of trash properly

• Communicate with Servers, Hostesses, and Management to manage table availability and ensure smooth seating

• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling as needed

• Keep dining room floors clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least one year experience as a Bus Person or Food Runner in a high-volume establishment

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
