Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Operational Resilience program is focused on delivering repeatable, predictable capabilities that can demonstrate agility and sustainability to carry out our mission during disruptive events and continue to operate critical processes within defined-risk tolerance limits. The Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) Business Resilience Team works closely with EO&T Stakeholders to drive the division’s business resiliency and continuity program to meet regulatory and legal requirements consistent with industry best practices.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the team that supports the most critical operational components of the Enterprise. We are searching for an energetic, team player to assist with executing the resiliency program for EO&T and driving sound risk management.
Our Impact:
- Communicate and implement resiliency program activities division-wide with high-visibility among senior leaders
- Partner with other subject matter experts in business continuity management and operational resilience practices across the organization
- Collaborate with technology partners and business process owners to ensure an understanding of critical processes, technologies, and operational impacts
- Partner with various enterprise risk, divisional risk, and business teams to drive alignment on regulatory and enterprise requirement
Your Impact:
- Facilitate the execution of Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plans, and Business Continuity Tests
- Contribute to the preparedness of the company’s response to a variety of threats and risks
- Collaborate with technical specialists within EO+T to understand key resiliency components
- Support a risk aware culture by enhancing EO+T understanding of Business Resiliency concepts, enterprise requirements, and strategic connections
- Identify program maturity and efficiency improvement recommendations and drive to solution
- Find opportunities for operational improvements, help prioritize and drive those enhancements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business continuity / operational resilience, incident management, technology business management, or related risk management experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Understanding of technologies supporting platforms, infrastructures, and core network services
- Experience with enterprise data tools and dashboards (e.g. Tableau, Python)
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and facilitation skills
- Ability to interface directly with stakeholders and management to facilitate task delivery on schedule
