Shipping Clerk

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for fulfilling sales orders and ensuring shipments are on time.

 

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and respond to customer and carrier requests
• Process products from inventory to sales orders as needed
• Fulfill and complete sales orders multiple times per day
• Maintenance of customer sales order copies
• Process shipments and print BOLs for customer orders
• Maintain records for inventory, shipping notices, invoices, etc.
• Participate in monthly inventory process

 

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate well with management, co-workers, drivers, etc.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
