The role will advise, partner, and serve as a business consultant to our expanding Commercial field sales team and marketing client areas. The VP will partner with leaders in the Commercial, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations, focused on expanding the HeartFlow commercial footprint.
The VP, HR Business Partner will provide guidance and leadership to the human resource team and assist with resolution of human resource, compensation, benefits questions, concerns, and issues. Will ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- Participate in decision making and play an integral role in the development of operational and business efficiencies.
- Oversee strategic planning, needs analysis, maintenance, and execution of all human capital programs for the assigned client groups.
- Direct organizational, operational, and fiscal reviews for the purpose of identifying issues related to human capital and create strategies necessary to service a growing and changing business environment.
- Help build and implement best-in-class global HR programs, processes and tools.
- Partner with management to define training needs through determination of knowledge gaps and needs assessment.
- Act as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
- Participate in effectively resolving employee relations matters enabling managers to support employees on the interpretation and application of written policies, procedures and/or practices as well as the interpretation and application of state and federal laws.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Help shape talent decisions and partner with Talent Acquisition to secure top talent for the business.
- Ensure that appropriate performance management philosophies, programs and practices are implemented and executed in support of a culture that values accountability and high performance.
- Oversee the Talent Acquisition activities, including recruiting, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates in assigned client areas.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Effectively administer the C&B changes associated with merit increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, terminations, and leaves of absence.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of HR Business Partnering or relevant leader
