ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Corporate Scheduler to manage, coordinate, and utilize functional authority for project planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within the Tepa Companies’ Project Operations group. This role is responsible for, but not limited to, planning and overseeing all corporate project schedules at each phase of a project according to contractual obligations and corporate policies, as well as overseeing schedulers within the Project Operations group.
Job Functions:
- Produces and maintains schedule reporting for all clients, to include project schedule creation, updates, billing, and SDEF conversion
- Develops and maintains accurate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to include schedule production, calculated schedule completion, project buyout, and submittal management
- Travels to locations where projects are taking place to help identify current and future schedule issues
- Collaborates with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules
- Meets with project Superintendents to update schedules, confirming accuracy while analyzing the path forward to ensure timely project completion
- Provides recommendations to Executive Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Superintendents on ways to improve project schedule health or identification of issues
- Ensures proposal schedules are developed to RFP specifications
- Develops and maintains corporate scheduling standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies
- Develops and provides scheduling training for project managers and designated schedulers within the organization
- Provides supervision and mentorship to schedulers within the Project Operations group
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years’ experience in a similar position related to construction
- Previous Government contracting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 Scheduling Software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project Scheduling Software
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to partner with groups of employees, contractors, and clients on construction projects
- Strong construction acumen
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
- Ability to keep and maintain confidential and secure records and information
