Job Description
Core accounts Technology for LATAM runs Franchise critical DDA banking platforms for Citi including Services, Markets, Banking and other lines of business. From opening and maintaining DDA Accounts, interfacing with 50+ partner applications meant for transaction processing and reporting needs, these platforms are central to Citi’s corporate flows across 19 countries. These Platforms processes a high volume of transactions daily with several critical payment processors meant for wires, ACH and instant payments. It also is central application to feeding data warehouses meant for Client statement generation and Regulatory reporting needs.
We are looking for a hands-on Technology Group Leader for LATAM Core Accounts. In this role, a successful candidate will lead technology division that performs Application Development on these platforms, partnering with business and operations heads in North America.
This role will also continue to manage the Global Infrastructure Estate across Core Accounts in 90+ countries. This includes driving a global book of work for remediating end of vendor support items, optimization of hardware, financials around hardware/software usage, and adoption of Citi’s internal cloud. This role will work with global teams supporting a franchise critical business, and partner with Infrastructure teams for evolving the enterprise infrastructure footprint.
Responsibilities:
Lead a global team, providing strategic and tactical direction, coaching and developing talents, evaluating performance and making recommendations for career path changes.
Lead application development across Core Accounts LATAM platforms using Safe Agile methodology, working towards defined target state technology roadmaps. Align applications development along with strategic direction of the organization
Be a thought leader for Core accounts technology. Share best practices. Identify ways to simplify the platform
Builds strong partnership with the business stakeholders to help drive strategic direction and investment decisions
Communicates to Sr. Management; assess the alternatives to resolve (“path to green”) and builds a plan for resolution
Assume responsibility in rallying team and resolving Critical Production Issues on time.
Drive culture change to make the team Tech Savvy and driven by latest architectural patterns
Own and manage infrastructure estate across 90+ countries globally, build and manage a team of infrastructure engineers in each region
Lead the adoption of cloud infrastructure and engineer solutions for 24x7, scalability, and high resilience
Drive the architecture vision and roadmap for eliminating non-strategic platforms and move to scalable infrastructure
Build strong and lasting partnership with CTI Infrastructure teams, STE Standard
Drive efficiencies in total cost of ownership of shared infrastructure
Lead application management for Core Accounts platforms across 19 countries, including management of Tech Risk and Compliance, vulnerabilities, internal audits.
Champion Automation at every level – Shift Left in Dev Lifecycle including with vendors, automation of infrastructure changes by CTI and STE groups, automation of cloud environment setups, failover etc.
Qualifications:
15+ years relevant industry experience in technical leadership re-engineering middleware platforms, integration services
Preferred experience in managing infrastructure, IAAS, preferably both internal and external, containerization, Docker/ECS/OpenShift
Preferred experience in building scalable, highly available, resilient applications
