Job Description:
Hours: 8-5, Monday - Friday.
Location: 501 S 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508
Job duties
An IT Applications Developer will consult, configure, and deploy agency solutions within the data analysis and reporting scope. Examples of work include, but are not limited to:
- Consulting with customers and SQL DBA’s to collect functional and data requirements.
- Information collection, and preparing the business problem definition
- Solution and report development and evaluation
- System Design and implementation
- Development and delivery of support material
- Logical and physical database design
- Creating and managing test data
- Develops, publishes, schedules, and maintains reports, dashboards, or other data visualizations.
- Creatively find ways to improve data visuals through integrations, analytics, and AI
- Supports continuous improvement towards increasing efficiency
These job duties will be performed in conjunction with other senior team members while using the tools in the OBI and ECM environments.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications.
Preferred: Education or experience of ETL processes, Power BI services, Microsoft Power Platform, Powershell scripting, SQL databases, Object Oriented technology.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Candidates must be service oriented, have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidate must have strong technical, organization, and planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance, and strong communication skills are a must.
