Description
Turnwell Mental Health is a clinician-led, integrated mental health company with a mission to expand access to high-quality care in underserved markets. We have a presence in multiple states and are growing nationally. We partner with established practices and provide administrative support to mental health providers (Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Therapists, etc.). This support includes human resources, IT, legal, operational, marketing, real estate, and finance expertise to enable practitioners to focus on what matters most: patient care.
Job Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, collaborating with HR management in supporting designated geographic regions or departments. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries or concerns regarding policies, procedures, and working conditions.
- Conduct investigations, recommend resolutions, and facilitate conflict resolution processes.
- Guide management on employee relations issues.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs within the organization and assist in the development of training programs.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Track and report on employee training and development activities
Performance Management:
- Assist in the implementation and administration of performance management processes.
- Provide support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Track and analyze performance appraisal data and assist in the development of improvement plans.
- Process Payroll inquiries and relatable duties.
Policy Implementation and Compliance:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Human Resources Generalist.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems, Paylocity) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with HRIS implementation and management (Paylocity preferred).
- Experience in a diverse and multicultural work environment.
Working Conditions:
- This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Hybrid 3 days in office.
