About the Team

The Network Architecture team brings together top industry talent and is responsible for the long‑term planning, design, testing, and validation of TikTok's global network architecture. Our scope spans multiple domains, including Data Center Networks (DCN), High‑Performance Networks (HPN), and the global backbone.

The networks we design and build power some of the world's most popular applications, including Douyin and TikTok, supporting hundreds of millions of users worldwide with high performance, scalability, and reliability.



We are seeking a Senior AI Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of high‑performance network infrastructure supporting large‑scale AI training and inference workloads. This role requires deep expertise in AI data center networking, strong architectural design, sharp insight into the industry, and the ability to drive complex systems from concept through production deployment.



Responsibilities

- Lead requirement analysis and capacity planning for AI training and inference networks, with a strong understanding of workload characteristics and scalability needs.

- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies in AI networking, and translate them into practical architectural decisions.

- Architect end‑to‑end AI network solutions optimized for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

- Own network architecture validation, benchmarking, and performance tuning for large‑scale AI clusters.

- Partner closely with infrastructure, platform, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and production rollout of new network architectures.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, and contribute to architecture reviews and long‑term infrastructure roadmaps.
