S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Director, Cloud Engineering to be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team to secure AWS Cloud environment used for running index applications in accordance with industry best practices and internal policies. This role requires a seasoned engineer who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment.

Responsabilities:

• Maintain Cloud and Infrastructurestructure Governance Run Book
• Review and Implement Information Security standards
• Generate Infrastructure Risk metrics
• Manage and respond to Internal and external Auditors 
• Manage Sailpoint certifications
• Manage system access review
• Monitor Infrastructurestructure and Cloud compliance
• Maintain NVA remediation Run Book
• Run and maintain OS, Network, Firewall patching efficiency reports
• Review privileged access (CyberArk) controls
• Generate CIS compliance levels
• Validate Database backups
• Manage Infrastructure Disaster Recovery and backup and maintain documentation
• Manage Infrastructure Cyber Incident Recovery and maintain documentation
• Liaison with BISO/CISO teams

 

      Skill and experience
•  Proven track record in setting up and governing Cloud security practice.
•  Familiarity with Information Security Standards and best practices
•  Experience working with external auditors
•  Experience working with Sailpoint or similar tools for user certification
•  Experience working with CyberArk or similar privileged access management tool
•  Experience working with NVA scanning tools like nexpose, tanium
•  Experience working with Cloud Security scanning tools like Secure State, WIZ cloud
•  Experience with Network Segmentation
•  Familiarity with Service Now

 

Around 15 years overall experience, 4+ in Cloud Infrastructure.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
