The Salesforce Administrator will execute the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the CRM platform. Primary tasks will consist of using the Salesforce.com platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other functionality to build and support customized solutions to enable business productivity across multiple organizations. The role requires developing strong relationships with Stakeholders, Engineering, and IT teams to proactively plan and drive technical activities/tasks for projects and support work in order to attain technical excellence.
This role sits within IT and reports to the manager of Customer Technology. The Customer Technology team selects, implements, and maintains the applications, platforms, and tools that enable the Marketing, Customer Service and Commercial Operations teams to do their best work. We do this by building world class technical solutions that are prepared to scale, are developed on a common set of data, and are seamlessly integrated.
What you’ll be doing:
Perform administrative functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity, and storage management for Salesforce and other SaaS tools used within Customer Technology
Create and customize objects, workflows, record types, page layouts, flows, fields (including advanced formulas and lookups), apps, tabs, profiles, security, users, and approval processes
interface directly with our SMEs and business teams to maintain the functional areas of data management, contacts, leads, opportunities, dashboards, cases and reports.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues.
Set up and maintain devops tools such as Git, Copado, Flosum
Work with common tools such as Salesforce Workbench and Apex Data Loader to import and export data from Salesforce
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day user requests
Ensure effective and accurate tracking and logging of Salesforce support and related report issues
Ability to triage issues as they come in to help with assignment and routing of production support needs
Perform support and maintenance tasks to address production issues reported by end users
Maintain familiarity with other business systems and platform technology capabilities in order to make sounds recommendations for future needs
Provide on-going process and system support during critical business operational processes, inclusive of evening and weekend hours when required
Ensure systems are regulatory compliant and meets Cruise’s security requirements
Document processes on Cruise’s internal wiki, create job-aids for users, and deliver technical training when needed
What you must have:
3 years of experience on Salesforce.com platform
Valid Salesforce Lightning Administrator Certification preferred
Demonstrated experience in developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers in SFDC
Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/implement solutions
Experience with DevOps tooling such as Copado or Flosum
Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction
Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling
Ability to develop effective relationships with business users and technical staff
Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic with a customer service mentality
Flexible with a demonstrated ability to embrace change
Experience with Visualforce pages, and Data Loader prefer
