Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world. The Creative Director position is responsible for managing and directing the dept pool of artists andthe workflow and deadlines of the total dept. This role also involves pulling trend, concepting for allcategories Loungefly sells (as well as Funko softlines), and working on retail and licensorpresentations. This position is based in Burbank, CA, and requires a hybrid schedule with some in-office presence.

- Work with VP creative to concept and direct projects for all accessory categories (and apparel
- as needed)
- Manage workflow and deadlines for total dept including art directors
- Effectively communicate w VP Creative, PMs, Licensors and Sales on timelines and products
- Create/ direct creation of trend boards and presentation decks as needed
- Conduct trend research to identify latest trends in graphics, apparel and accessories
- Partner w PD and be knowledgeable in bag construction and price point restrictions in order to correctly direct artists
- Asist VP Creative w visual guides for Funko south Tee design
- Create original artwork as needed
- Manage all evaluations for designers and goal setting
- Manage any freelancers used for any account
- Manage the dept calendar and ensure all deadlines are met
- Bring new ideas for efficiencies within the dept workflow and with individual artists
- Lead and Participate in team brainstorms and design challenges
- Be front facing with licensors and retailers
- Collaborate w sales, licensing and PD to ensure constant visibility between depts where necessary
What You’ll Bring
- 10 years + experience
- A degree in graphic design, communication arts or illustration
- History of effectively managing and directing creative professionals at the director level
- Proficient in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop (expert level)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to details
- Ability to concept for multiple styles of art/design for different customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to meet tight deadlines and problem solve quickly
- Able to demonstrate a pulse on what is trending at retail
