Your roleWMG’s User Experience Team is looking for a Senior Content Designer to help us set the standard for content design in our internal and external products. The UX team is transforming our digital product experiences to help artists, songwriters, producers, A&R, marketing and finance users build long lasting music careers for Artists and Songwriters, to help Artists authentically connect with their fans, and to push boundaries and find new innovative ways to improve our business.
Our content design team is small and new, so you’ll need the ability to prioritize and have an interest in creating standards that help others. This role reports into the Manager of Content Design and you will be responsible for creating compelling content experiences while collaborating with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Work at global scale, shaping how we work and designing the most important products that power our business
- Design experiences, with an emphasis on content
- Write clear and concise copy that enhances the overall user experience
- Contribute to and maintain voice guidelines and content standards
- Conduct user research and usability to inform content recommendations
- Iterate based on data-driven insights
- Help lay the foundation for content design at Warner Music Group; by joining you will double the size of the content design team!
- Design an inclusive experience by incorporating accessibility and localization guidelines
- Learn from and collaborate with folks from across the music and tech industry to grow your career and industry knowledge
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Content Strategist or similar role and a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- A healthy curiosity about ways AI can help you and our users
- Systems thinking—you search for patterns and ways to scale and optimize your work
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and user research and testing methodologies
- The ability to prioritize, plan, and own your work
- Success collaborating with cross-functional teams
- A knack for storytelling with a user-focus
- Great communication skills! In addition to your content design skills, you are a relationship builder who is able to articulate content decisions and provide transparency into your goals and priorities
- Proven track record of bringing a consumer sensibility to the experience for elegant and efficient business products that solve complex, data intensive problems
- Proficiency in standard design tools such as Figma
