Certified Nursing Assistant (Pharmacy Tech) (66298)

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical services to the Florida Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Pharmacy Tech to join our team at Walton Correctional Institution located in De Funiak Springs, Florida.

The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities include:

• Ordering/Stocking medications
• Weekly stock medication counts
• Maintaining medication logs
• Logging expired medications
• Checking and stocking Over the Counter (OTC) medications in the exam rooms
• Preparing and maintaining pharmacy documentation for audits
• Passing out Keep On Person (KOP) medication cards to inmates at the pill window and in confinement dorms
• Meeting Fed-Ex at the Main Gain and signing for deliveries
• Helping to complete vital signs on inmates arriving at the institution
• Assisting with inmate emergencies, as needed
• And etc. 

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license/certification  
• Current CPR
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days, 7AM- 3:30PM; Monday-Friday
