• The Hampton Inn And Suites Wichita Northeast Hotel, managed by StepStone Hospitality, has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in high standards of quality customer service, a top-notch preventive maintenance program and outstanding leadership to showcase their skills! 

What will you be doing?

•  Supervise maintenance operations for the Hampton Inn And Suites  Hotel. 
• Supervise assigned associates including hiring, termination, discipline, development, and evaluations.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure coordination of activities.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget.

Requirements

· Effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

· Ability to accurately report information. 

· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

· Attend required meetings.

· Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.

· Minimum lifting of 70 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Hearing, writing, typing.

· Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.

· CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
