SUMMARY

The position of Facilities Maintenance Lead Technician is responsible for Trouble shoot, repair, and maintain all facility systems and equipment. Lead large scale projects and manage vendors.

 

JOB DUTIES

• Must have personal computer, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC skills.
• Must have working knowledge of fabrication and machine shop tools.
• Must have ability to read electrical drawings.
• Requires strong attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to work any shifts and to response to the emergency calls 24/7
• All other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
  • Trade licenses is a plus.
• Experience & Skills:
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and enhancements for facility equipment with awareness and emphasis on maintaining all GMP standards and maximization of equipment and facility efficiencies.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC installations.
  • Comply with GMP and other regulatory requirements as well as Company and site policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with co-workers.
  • Improve and broaden skills by participating in training programs.
  • Support group and site cost improvement goals and initiatives.
  • Support maintenance involvement in site projects.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift, as well as constant mobility on a daily basis. Additionally, this position requires ability to move within/between departments and facilities
  • Ability to review items closely and have color recognition.
  • Requires pushing, pulling, lifting, moving and/or carrying up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally move 100 pounds as a time.
  • Ability to twist and bend to reach into awkward spaces.
  • Requires exposure on an infrequent basis to inclement weather conditions.
  • Requires ability to safely and effectively operate fork trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers.
