Duties/Responsibilities

 

• Dispatch break-in work to operating Areas by monitoring, remote troubleshooting, and prioritizing signals (e.g. regulatory, well/facility down) coming into the Decision Support Center (DSC) to effectively allocate resources
• Monitor multiple surveillance programs simultaneously (e.g. Iconics, XSPOC, Planning Optimizer, EBS, Orbcomm, others)
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and bad actor problem solving (e.g. alarm rationalization, EBS signal improvements)
• Continuously improve standard work and work priority for DSC operations
• Implement new workflow streams into the DSC as the program matures (e.g. gas gathering, water/oil hauling, snow removal, rig rollovers, etc.)
• Support run Reliability Operators with remote well and facility troubleshooting
• Remotely restart wells (where applicable) safely
• Monitor video cameras on field locations (where applicable)
• Point of contact between Upstream Reliability Operations and outside functions (e.g. Regulatory, Midstream, Commercial, Well Factory, Subsurface) for DSC-related tasks

 

Experience/Skills     

 

• Industrial / oilfield experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of safety requirements and practices
• Strong process flow (P&ID) knowledge
• Detailed understanding of operating procedures and standards
• Work / project coordination
• Strong understanding of current Bakken Upstream processes and programs (e.g. EBS, AM, Iconics, XSPOC)
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment

 

Education/Training  

 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
