Description
CTG is seeking to fill an IT Project Analyst opening for our client in Rochester, MN.
Location: Remote
Duration: 9 months
Overview:
- This position serves as a liaison primarily to internal IT Divisions.
- Routinely interacts with IT vendors and provides technical interpretation for required services.
- Independently manages multiple small to single medium-scale IT internal business projects from inception to close, including resource management, risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance and change control.
- Ensures communication between and among business proponents, stakeholders, and IT management regarding assignments.
- Contributes and leads improvement efforts of established guidelines, tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Continuously demonstrates effective use of group facilitation, team building and conflict resolution skills.
- Tracks and communicates work unit activities and has broad general knowledge of information technology and institution activities.
- Participates in or leads process or quality improvement efforts.
Duties:
- The scope of work is to assist with the management of an existing work intake process for IT infrastructure requests.
- This process is built using Service Now and Azure Dev Ops capabilities and the work effort would include (1) the intake, triage, and management of work requests (2) communication to assignment teams and customers (3) assessment of process for improvements.
Experience:
- IT Infrastructure projects such as Server, Telecom, Network, Data center migration, refreshes
- Working within a hospital setting that has 24x7 patient care
- Communicating status updates with customer stakeholders and project teams
- Demonstrated strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Process Execution: Management/support of intake process, including triage of requests and communication.
- Process Improvement: Ability conduct process assessment and redesign (looking at current state and recommending future state).
- Tooling Skills: *Familiarity of Service Now and Azure DevOps capabilities will be key as the process leverages them both.
- Service Now (doesn’t have to be in depth on everything, but experience with things such as request forms, assignment groups and general navigation/use
- Azure DevOps – Kanban boards and general navigation/use
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and training/experience in Information Technology or Business Management,
OR
- Associates degree with 2 years of technical experience.
Preferred Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in information technology or business management

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $30.00/hr to $33.00/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
