Our rapidly growing People Analytics & Experience team is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence product development. You will help improve our current slate of products while building our next generation of accurate, interactive, and scalable tools which transform data into metrics, insights, and stories, positively impacting the organization's health, culture, and employee experiences.

As a BI Product Developer, you will join the Scalable People Analytics team, collaborating with analytics consultants, engineering & machine learning teams, and stakeholders to address strategic workforce needs. Focusing on creating user-centric, data-driven solutions, a successful candidate will have a strong growth mindset, be a creative problem solver, and be passionate about driving impact.

What you’ll do:

• Apply your expertise in data visualization, quantitative analysis, and UX/UI design to improve user experience and business results.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize our suite of interactive dashboards.
• Build accurate and easy-to-consume dashboards and other products for key insights which answer people-related business questions.
• Utilize your SQL and Python skills for ETL, product enhancements, and debugging.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data visualizations and user-centric requirements.
• Proactively engage teams within PAX and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills to influence stakeholders.

Who you are:

• Master's or Bachelor's (preferably in Mathematics, Science, Statistics or Engineering) with 2-4 years of work experience or commensurate experience such as 4-8 years of experience in data analytics and BI roles.
• Passionate about data visualization, UX/UI design, and user-centric product development.
• Proficiency in Tableau, TabPy, SQL and Python required.
• Experience with Plotly and RESTful API strongly preferred.
• Experience in HR and related HR tools (e.g., Workday, Service Now) a preferred.
• Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Shiny R, etc.) is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience delivering data-driven insights and recommendations which drive change or performance improvement for stakeholders (please share samples as allowed).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Business acumen and basic machine learning concepts/approaches are desirable.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
