Job Summary:
As a Business Development Coordinator at Woodruff Sawyer, one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the nation, you will be a key player in growing our business. Reporting to the Regional Growth Leader, you’ll directly support the Producers that drive our new business and client retention. This is a challenging role that combines organizational skills, communication prowess, and the ability to learn and use the tools we leverage to help our business scale.
What You'll Do:
- Support the development and management of marketing strategies
- Coordinate the development and logistics of events for prospective and existing clients
- Develop and maintain social media initiatives to build practice brand presence
- Support Producers in handling prospect lists, running and updating pipeline and new business reports
- Identify and educate on available marketing tools to use for client demonstrations
- Work directly with the Regional Growth Leader (RGL) to support the key initiatives and growth objectives in the region. This role is also indirectly supported by the BDC Manager, who will drive training and development opportunities for you and be a liaison between you and RGL.
- Create, review, and update presentations in PowerPoint, Excel, and other tools
- Become a Salesforce master and manage all reports and dashboards, while being the first line of support for Producers troubleshooting issues with SFDC (we’ll help you learn Salesforce)
- Work with Producers to support them accurately maintaining their pipelines and drive the data needed for weekly and monthly sales meetings
- Support in-person and virtual events in conjunction with the Field Marketing Team
- Help run Salesforce campaigns and track outreach and attendance
- Research potential accounts and leads on assigned target account lists
- Work closely with Sales Enablement to support the onboarding and training of new Producers
- Support scheduling, travel, and expense reporting as needed for the Regional Growth Leader

- You have a mix of excellent MS Office skills, a good eye for design, and good communication skills, allowing you to work directly with Sales team members on their requests
- You have experience with Salesforce (preferred) or another CRM system
- You are capable of learning new systems and have the patience to guide others as a trusted resource
Experience & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus
- Experience in insurance or a similar service-based industry, B2B environment, and/or selling or marketing to the C-suite is preferred

More About Us:
Compensation: Anticipated salary between $62,690.00 - $87,500.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
